All membership meetings except for the December and March meetings will be held at the Inlet Town Hall at 7pm. Dates for additional 2018 events will appear here once confirmed.



Saturday, August 26, 2017: Family picnic to be held at 1pm at the home of George Lapinski, 273 Big Moose Road in Eagle Bay. The cost will be $5 per member and $10 for a non-member, to be paid upon arrival at the picnic. RSVP date for the picnic is August 21.  Please call George at 315-357-4278. Bring a dish to pass. The club will provide meats and non-alcoholic beverages.

Saturday, December 9, 2017Due to unforeseen circumstances, the first Safety Course that was scheduled for December 9, 2017 has been cancelled. We apologize for any inconvenience. The only class that wil be club-sponsored this season will be held on January 13, 2018 with registrations being accepted starting January 2nd.


Tuesday, December 12, 2017:  Christmas Party & Sled Raffle Drawing. The annual Christmas Party will be held in Inlet at the Woods Inn in Inlet, New York. The evening will begin at 5:30pm with a brief business meeting. At 6pm there will be appetizers served with a cash bar, and then dinner will be served at 7pm. The entrée choices are Prime Rib, Herb Crusted Salmon, or Chicken Marsala. The price per person is $15 for a club member and $37 for a non-member. Please RSVP by November 28th by mailing a check made payable to the Inlet Barnstormers and c/o Bill Gasperino, PO Box 1042, Old Forge, NY 13420. Don’t forget to include your entrée choices with your check. Following dinner the raffle drawing for the snowmobile and other cash prizes will held. And then the ever-popular gift exchange will commence. If you want to participate, you should bring a wrapped item valued at $15 and be sure to get a drawing number to win the most coveted gift. Saturday, January 13, 2018:   Youth Safety Course, Inlet Fire Hall. Space is limited and all students must be registered to attend.  Walk-ins will not be accepted. Registration will open on Monday, January 1st. Tuesday, January 16, 2018:  Regular Monthly Meeting


Friday & Saturday, February 2 & 3, 2018: 19th Annual Poker Run.  Come join us for our 19th annual Poker Run on Friday February 2 and February 3, 2018. It’s fun. Get your buddies and go for it! The purse is $700 and there is over 70 door prizes and last year’s 50/50 was $400. Pick up your playing card at any one of the 25 sponsors (more sponsors this year than we’ve had for years). Get your card stamped from as many sponsors as possible. Go to Daikers restaurant by 5:15 pm on Saturday February 3, 2018. Your one card can purchase up to ten hands for $10 per hand (no need for 2 cards, only one card will be accepted per player). Winner must be present to win. You are dealt as many cards as you have stamps on your card. You need at least 5 different stamps as the poker game is five-card stud. Come join the fun and ride safe.


Tuesday & Wednesday, February 6 & 7, 2018: Overnight Ride to The Beeches Resort.  The annual Inlet Barnstormers Club overnight trip will be held this season on Tuesday & Wednesday, February 6 & 7, 2018.  We will leave from the groomer barn on North Street in Old Forge at 9AM on Tuesday and ride to the Beeches Resort in Rome. We will get to the Beeches mid-afternoon after stopping for lunch on the way. There will be a cocktail party at 4:30pm in the breakfast dining room. Bring your own adult drinks. You can make a reservation by calling the Beeches at 315-336-1775 and ask for a room with the Barnstormers. The rates are $89.95 and $99.95 per night with a full American breakfast included. We will be having dinner as a group at 7pm at the Beeches. You can also drive down by car and meet us there for all the fun. If you plan on riding your sled, please call Bob Gates at 315-527-0760 so he will know who to expect on the ride. We will have vehicles to take your luggage if you wish.  Any other questions, give Bob a call. If we are not able to ride the sleds due to trail conditions, we will all be driving our cars to enjoy the fun. Snow or no snow we will still go. Hope to see you there!


Thursday, February 15, 2018: Billy's Italian Restaurant charity dinner to benefit our club.  Billy generously donates 20% of all dinner checks, so enjoy a delicious dinner in his cozy dining room or order carry-out to bolster our club and be sure to thank owner Billy Burns for his support.


Tuesday, February 20, 2018: Regular Monthly Meeting and election of officers.


Tuesday, March 6, 2018: End of Season Dinner Meeting be held at the Steak House restaurant in Thendara.  Entrees include a choice of Prime Rib, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Baked Stuffed Haddock with Crabmeat Stuffing.  There will be a brief meeting at 5:30pm, with appetizers served and a cash bar at 6:00pm and dinner at 7:00pm.  The cost per person is $37, with tax & tip included.   Mail a check payable to the Inlet Barnstormers with your entrée selection to Bill Gasperino, PO Box 1042, Old Forge, NY 13420 no later than February 26. 


Friday & Saturday, March 9 & 10, 2018: *Snofest in Old Forge. The four major dealers: Ski Doo, Yamaha, Polaris, and Arctic
